Patients, including allergy shot ones, will be screened for symptoms and risk factors of COVID-19 at the office entrance.
Routine appointments for patients considered high-risk for COVID-19 may not be made.
Patients for acute visit/sickness are directed to see their primary care providers first.
We are limiting the number of people in the waiting room (you can sit together with your caretaker/company and we’ll count you as one). Please be at least 6 feet away from others.
Allergy shot and biologic (e.g., Xolair) patients may be allowed to wait in the car in our parking lot after shots but need to return for arm check after 30 minutes. Inform the nurse giving you the shot that you’d like to wait outside. The following allergy shot patients must wait inside the office:
1. Has history of previous reactions to the injections .
2. On allergy shots for pollen.
3. Come alone – Not accompanied by an adult.
Patients may have one caretaker or visitor for their appointment if needed. This person will be asked to remain in the waiting room during the appointment to help limit exposure.
Please do not bring young children, except as patients, along to appointments at this time. If you do so, they may be asked to wait outside of the office (in your car).
